Do you have tablecloths?

Please bring your own tablecloths. We guarantee 6, six-foot folding rectangular tables.

Can I move the furniture?

Sure, you are welcome to move around the couch, chair, and small table. If you move them out of the main rental area, please make sure to move them back into that main area before the end of your rental.

It is our policy (see above) that if you plan to have any alcohol at your event, whether you bring it, others, etc., you must obtain event insurance that covers alcohol-related incidents.

What tables are available?

We guarantee 6, six-foot folding rectangular tables for your use, although there might be extras available on the day of your event.

Can I move the artwork or put up my own?

No. We feature local artists each month and do everything we can to honor their work and keep it safe. All artwork needs to stay on the walls during your event. If there is empty space on a wall, you are welcome to hang decorations there, and decorations can be around the artwork; artwork just cannot be touched.

Do you provide a speaker?

No. Please bring your own speaker. Wi-Fi is available to stream your own music.

How do I get in for my event?

Birdhouse management will either give you a door keycode or arrange for someone to be there to let you in. We let you into the space 15 minutes before your rental time. We will show you how to lock up yourselves at the end of your rental time.

How many people does the Birdhouse hold?

Our maximum indoor capacity is 49 people, per Knox County Fire Code. Outdoor spaces do not have a limit.

Do you provide chairs?

Yes, we have 50 folding chairs with cloth seats/backs available for your use. This is a DIY space, so you will need to set them up and put them away at the end of your event. They can be taken outside, but please wipe off any mud from the yard before replacing on the rack.

Can I use the backyard? What are the restrictions?

For sure! We encourage you to use our recently updated yard. The backyard features a deck/stage area. Please, no profanities that could affect neighbors or passersby. Also, loud music must end by 10 pm on weeknights and midnight on weekends.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes. We will provide you with the Wi-Fi information upon booking.
