Birdhouse Neighborhood Center Structure
The Birdhouse Neighborhood Center is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who share their time and resources to keep the Birdhouse running on a day-to-day and long-term basis.
The Birdhouse Neighborhood Center Committee is an official group within the Fourth & Gill Neighborhood Organization. Within the committee are four subcommittees. The Birdhouse also recognizes dozens of other volunteers in the neighborhood and beyond.

This group develops and implements policies, oversees finances, and manages other operational pieces of the Birdhouse as a nonprofit business.

Programs & Activities Subcommittee

This group plans and executes all Birdhouse-run events, such as our annual Mardi Gras fundraiser, the Fall Hoedown, and more!

Building & Grounds

This group maintains the historic Birdhouse building and grounds located at 800 N 4th Ave.

Social Justice

This group will organize social justice gatherings at the Birdhouse. Currently, gatherings will not represent specific issues, but instead support social justice causes in general.

Fundraising

This is a 3-month annual commitment, only during fundraising season in the fall.
