April - 2007 The Fourth and Gill Neighborhood Organization has received a grant from the East Tennessee Foundation's Neighborhoods Small Grants Program (NSGP) to help offset costs with producing and distributing our neighborhood newsletter. The Neighborhoods Small Grants Program is a community development program of East Tennessee Foundation with funding support from the City of Knoxville's Community Development Department. March - 2006 Fourth and Gill resident Carrie Walker featured in News-Sentinel story titled “Artist lights Old City”. Click here to read this story.
March - 2006 Decorative street lamps have been installed in Fourth & Gill. The neighborhood purchased the materials and Cherokee Millwright donated the labor and other associated costs.
